An intermediate fraction which usually contains granules where the insulation is still sticking to the copper wire, is continuously fed back for re-granulation. In this way purer copper and insulation is obtained.
Mixed copper cable can normally be granulated using a screen with 5 mm hole diameter. Simple systems often need a smaller hole diameter screen to achieve some sort of separation what leads to lower capacity. Thanks to the intermediate fraction, Redoma’s smart separators have almost double the capacity compared with systems having only two separator outlets.
“These are obvious benefits for our customers”, says Simone Lorenz, Sales and Marketing Manager at Redoma.
